Principal Daniel Heuberger AIA, LEED AP spoke with World Architecture News about the possibilities for New York City’s Pier 40 on the Hudson River. Working with The Durst Organization and C&K Properties as the developers, Dattner Architects has designed a facility that would be self-supporting, complementary to Hudson River Park, and provide more amenities more efficiently, including more parking and recreational spaces, tech offices, galleries, as well as retail and cafes. Designs are under review before proceeding with the next phases.
