Making History: John Woelfling to speak at Landmarks Preservation Commission anniversary conference
New York City’s Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is celebrating their 60th Anniversary with a series of initiatives and events. On April 24, 2025, they will host a forum which includes two panels exploring the critical areas of focus for preservation today. The first panel is explores the variety of strategies that support housing creation and preservation, while the second highlights innovative design in a historic context and delves into notable examples from recent work in New York City landmark buildings. Partner John Woelfling will be on the Housing Panel sharing lessons learned from our robust affordable and mixed-income housing practice. Preregistration is required for this free conference on zoom.
LPC also developed a fascinating Story Line that frames the City’s preservation movement through the decades.
