Inspired by her experiences living around the world, Kiyomi believes that the vibrancy of a city is shaped by how people connect with their communities and environment. Her respect for all aspects that inform a project – from scale, location, and typology to design criteria – manifests in her desire to create thoughtful, lasting architecture.  She is committed to improving the quality of urban life by integrating the natural, social, and built environments into public spaces that contribute to the well-being of end-users and their communities. Kiyomi has experience with a variety of typologies, including hospitality, commercial, transportation, and aviation –and she believes each project is enhanced through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Kiyomi holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Osaka University of Arts and a Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
