Davis Richardson

RA, NCARB
Project Architect

Davis Richardson is interested in the ways architecture can shape forms of collectivity and shared experiences. He believes architecture is a practice that envisions ways in which the world can be otherwise–particularly, the ways the world can be designed to bring us closer together. This approach has spanned many types of projects in his career, from housing models centered on cooperativity, performing arts centers that suspend our disbelief, office buildings that rethink the ways we work together, and larger mixed-use projects that shape our cities. He has served as faculty at Kean University, NJIT, and the Architectural Association, and is a regular contributor to The Architect’s Newspaper. In addition to AN, his work and writing have been featured in the A+D Museum, Texas Architect, and SXSW among others.

Davis holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from Harding University.
