Born and raised in the Bronx, Donovan is committed to the belief that architecture can be utilized to amplify and improve the lives of everyday citizens through design that is equally focused on the urban scale and human scale. His professional projects have spanned institutional and civic– from schools and libraries, to train stations, and places of worship. His experience in educational, transit-oriented, and urban spaces has helped develop his ability to navigate a diverse range of communities and user-groups.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from The City College of New York and a Master of Urban Planning from Columbia University GSAPP. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The City College of NY teaching a visualization class in the Master of Architecture program.
