Habiba Akhtar was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and spent most of her childhood amazed and inspired by Parliament buildings and the local surrounding architecture. Later in life, that played a large part in her decision to study architecture and her deep appreciation of the direct impact architecture can have on society and people’s everyday lives. She has over 10 years of experience in affordable housing, high-end residential, and mixed-use development.
