Henry Black

Henry Black believes that every project can be sustainable, whether pursuing passive house certification or prioritizing healthy materials and building practices. His favorite aspect of architecture is the iterative learning process of working on a project from concept to completion with a multidisciplinary team. In his work with design/building passive house renovations, Henry researched and applied practices related to material recycling, circularity, deconstruction, low carbon emissions, and the use of healthy materials.

Henry holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Vermont.
