A native New Yorker, Kate McNamara studied fractal theory and worked for a print maker before getting her masters in architecture. Her passions have combined into an architecture that is informed by technology and focused on the urban realm.
Kate received her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Swarthmore College and Master of Architecture from Columbia University. She is a recipient of the 2020 Percival Goodman Fellowship for tracing the flows of climate finance behind carbon offsets and exposing the financial colonialism of the emissions trading industry.
