Pilar Batista
Designer
Pilar Batista is passionate about adaptive reuse, reimagining public spaces, and sustainable affordable housing. Before working as an Architect, she was with a non-profit providing art education to public schools across New York City. Pilar’s work as an educator and experience designing multi-family residential and mixed-use projects inspired her commitment to creating spaces that improve the quality of life for end users. She is currently a licensure candidate with NCARB and plans to be a part of the small percentage of licensed Black Female Architects.
Pilar holds a Master of Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Berkeley College.
