Rae is driven by a belief that the most responsible thing an architect can do is promote an urban lifestyle that preserves natural spaces and reduces our carbon footprints. To her, that means making cities more livable for everyone. She has cultivated a deep interest in housing issues, user appropriation, and material experimentation. After receiving her BA in urban planning from UNC-Chapel Hill, Rae spent four years consulting at a real estate economics advisory.
Rae holds a Master of Architecture from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina.
