Rose Florian is inspired by her identity as a Black Puerto Rican designer, and she is interested in the discourse of race and colonialism. Through her work, she explores the intersections among different disciplines as a way to better understand and impact deep rooted issues that shape today’s communities. She has experience in residential, commercial architecture as well as master planning and urban design.
Rose holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental design from the University of Puerto Rico, a Master in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University.
