A New York City native, Shoni Mizutani believes that architects play a vital role in ensuring that the future of multi-family housing is both more affordable and sustainable. She enjoys the puzzle-solving inherent to dense urban housing, and the challenge of creating peaceful and restful apartments for their residents. Having worked in New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area, she has experience in various sectors, including multi-family affordable, multi-family mixed-income, educational, cultural, and hospitality.
Shoni holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University GSAPP.
