Stephen Hoang believes that architecture should begin with an understanding of the complex ways in which people relate to the built environment. He is interested in how architecture is influenced by our use of technology and data, our imbued sense of history and nostalgia, and our desires to move and circulate. He has worked on projects large and small, including urban master plans, marine transfer stations, subway stations, commercial office buildings, and mixed-use residential.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas.
